Inugami Concepts
This is a completed page of a
comic strip I’m working on for a brief to create artwork which includes text as
well as imagery. It depicts the story of an animal-hating boy who is punished
by the purple-eyed dog spirit, called Inugami, after seeing him end the life of
a stray puppy. Inugami places a curse on the boy turning him into a dog and everyone
he knows forgets who he is. To break the curse the boy must realise the error
of his ways within a year or die. The comic strip is hand-drawn using fine
liner and watercolour. It reads from right to left.
